Torn to Pieces, Part Two

I think patterned paper works best for the "torn" look.

Torn to Pieces

Torn to Pieces, in a good way. I like the way they flow.

Lazy me.

My poor neglected blog. I've made lots and lots of stuff this summer and haven't posted hardly anything. Watch closely, as I'm going to start "filling in the blanks", as it were. I blame it on Lorna, Laura, Maggie, Susan, Heather, Kim and every other author whose books I've been too busy reading to post here. Shame on you all for such good work :)

Very Special Baby Card

This is the second card I did for Jo & Dan. The "clothes" are cut from pieces of felt, rick-rack and rhinstones.

I hope she adds it to the scrapbook I gave her to keep for Dylan (9/3/10)

Yoga Socks

Ok, my Mom made these for me. I can't knit or crochet worth a poop.
They are made out of an Italian cotton that is so soft it feels like silk!
The purpose it to keep the foot warm while still allowing the heel and toes contact
with the Yoga mat.

Butterfly Medallion Cards

Again, still slacking, but maybe I'll get caught up soon!
I made several variations of this card, and they are big hits!

Baby Elephant

This card was a special for a co-worker who was having her first baby. The family is from India
and elephants are a symbol of good luck. Since the colors she picked for the baby were mostly
purples I figured I'd go with a traditional Indian theme for the card. She loved it.
